Two Sides of the Same Coin: Congressman Mallikarjun Kharge and Pm Modi

Two Sides of the Same Coin Congressman Mallikarjun Kharge and Pm Modi

The president of the Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge, claimed on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao are “two sides of the same coin” and accused the BJP and the ruling BRS of cooperating in this regard.

Speaking at public gatherings in Sangareddy and Medak before of Telangana’s Assembly elections on November 30, Kharge said that Indira Gandhi ji was elected from Medak and went on to become the nation’s prime minister.

He claimed that Indira Gandhi ji was responsible for the three significant public sector enterprises in this area, BHEL, BDL, and Ordnance Factory.

He claimed that by creating a distinct state and giving thousands of people jobs through these PSUs, the Gandhi family had improved Telangana in every manner.

“And Modi is attempting to sell them, and the BRS is one of his supporters. Modi and KCR represent opposing views of the same thing. Modi and KCR represent opposing sides of the same coin. We are not worried since both are the same, are cooperating, and aim to frighten us,” Kharge remarked.

He claimed that in addition to Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BRS leaders have recently begun to criticize the Congress.

According to him, the UPA government implemented welfare programs including MGNREGA, Right to Education, and Food Security.

Kharge claimed that the BRS and the BJP were in collusion and questioned what the Congress had accomplished in the past 70 years. Did the BJP lead the nation to independence? These days, the BJP-BRS ‘B’ team has also been posing these queries. The party that battled for our independence was the Congress party. I believe they both have a covert agreement and only act in ways that will benefit them.

According to Kharge, the Congress is the only organization that advocates for the rights of women, students, farmers, scheduled castes and tribes, the impoverished, and farmers.

He urged everyone in attendance to back the Congress because it is the party that defends the rights of the people, democracy, and the Constitution.

Kharge emphasized the six electoral assurances that the Congress has declared for Telangana and promised to put them into effect if the party wins the state.

He stated, “What we promise we deliver, but you promise only for votes and then go away.” The Congress party has kept the promises it made to the people of Karnataka.

Criticizing KCR, he said, “KCR kept doing whatever he wanted” and questioned, “Who benefitted from it?”

“Have farmers, women, and students benefited? “The Congress party is offering you six guarantees because of this,” he stated.

Kharge, criticizing BRS politicians for casting doubt on the Congress’s five guarantees being implemented in Karnataka, said Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy would charter a luxury bus to transport the leaders to Karnataka and demonstrate to them how the pledges are being carried out.

He reminded everyone that Sonia Gandhi was the one who granted Telangana, claiming that she carried out the aspirations of the Telangana people.

“But BRS executives overlooked that. It is dishonorable for them to criticize the Gandhi clan. Sonia Gandhi was deceived by those who currently control the state and the party that controls the state. The very following day, they made a modification after asking for her blessings, according to Kharge.

He claimed that Sonia was essential to the creation of Telangana and that the Congress was a major factor in that process.

“We accomplished a lot, according to the BRS, to help divide Telangana state. If we hadn’t given you (KCR) Telangana, you would never have been appointed Chief Minister. The Congress is the reason you became the Chief Minister,” Kharge remarked.

He said that corruption pervaded every aspect of life, including the Telangana irrigation project at Kaleswaram, and he charged KCR of forcing the state into an enormous debt trap totaling Rs. 5 lakh crore.

The seasoned member of Congress stated, “Such people have to be taught a lesson and hence support the Congress.”

Kharge went on to criticize PM Modi on the lack of jobs, claiming that only 2,000–5,000 people receive appointment orders from him despite the fact that 30 lakh positions remain unfilled in various government departments, including banks, universities, and railroads.

“The certificates of appointment are given out by the PM personally. It had never been done by a prime minister. The appointment letters are sent by the concerned department’s clerk. However, Modi ji puts on a show by holding pictures and giving out certificates,” he remarked.

Kharge went on to claim that Modi had broken his pledge to create two crore employment annually and “deposit” Rs. 15 lakh into people’s bank accounts.

He inquired about who among the group had received the money.

“Who understood it? Does Modi Sahab tell lies? A prime minister who can’t lie? Is Modi a liar or not if you do not understand it? Is Modi a traitor to the people? Hence, don’t put your faith in people who tell falsehoods and betrayal. assure the Congress party’s triumph, so I kindly ask you to back the Congress (in the next elections),” Kharge continued.
